about me portfolio exhibition contact us la luce è una questione di percezione. read more su di me nata a catania il 26 gennaio 1960. inizia la sua carriera prima come assistente fotografo presso lo studio fiorini di roma specializzato in fotografia industriale e pubblicitaria , poi come assistente fotografo presso lo studio tiburzi di roma specializzato in fotografia di moda e ritratto . l’attività di fotografo free lance a catania, inizia nel 1985. sin dall’inizio dell’era digitale si occupa di post-produzione , elaborazione d’immagine e stampa digitale, diventando esperta nell’utilizzo di adobe photoshop ® e conseguendo, inoltre, la certificazione aca . grazie alla sua esperienza, diventa formatrice per la fotografia presso l’ enfap di catania. attualmente oltre all’attività di fotografo pubblicitario, organizza mostre fotografiche e corsi di fotografia , dove trasmette tutta la sua esperienza nel campo della fotografia pubblicitaria . i corsi sono aperti a tutti, dagli appassionati che vogliono migliorarsi a chi vuole intraprendere la professione di fotografo. nel 2010 ha partecipato al european tracks on photography , tenendo workshop di fotografia a lucca, ankara ed evora. nel 2012 ha esposto a roma nell’ambito della mostra riciclarte presso l’aranciera-semenzaio di san sisto. nel 2013 promuove il progetto “ visioni da un romanzo ” che pone come principali obiettivi la valorizzazione e la diffusione dell’arte fotografica attraverso la libera interpretazione di opere letterarie. la prima esposizione collettiva “ manna e miele, ferro e fuoco ” ha luogo a catania presso il palazzo della cultura e successivamente ad ortigia (sr), presso l’ex monastero del ritiro. il lavoro, liberamente ispirato all’omonimo romanzo dell’autrice siciliana giuseppina torregrossa, racconta attraverso immagini, le emozioni, le pulsioni, i sogni di una giovane donna siciliana alla fine del 1800. il progetto “ visioni da un romanzo ” continua con “ i malavoglia ” di giovanni verga. con la fotografia viene trasfigurato quel destino avverso e di sopraffazione che, nella sicilia dei malavoglia, conduceva l’umile nell’inesorabile e perpetuo rinnovarsi della sconfitta. la mostra “ i malavoglia ” ha avuto luogo nel 2014 presso il palazzo della cultura e nel 2015 verrà riproposta presso il castello di aci e presso il museo di vizzini. about me she was born in catania on the 26th january 1960. she starts her career at first as photographer assistant at studio fiorini in roma specialized in industrial and advertising photography , then as photographer assistant at the studio tiburzi in rome specialized in fashion and portrait photography . she has also collaborated with publistyle ad agency in rome as professional photographer. her free lance activity as photographer in catania starts in 1985. since the digital era she’s been dealing with post-production and digital printing , mastering adobe photoshop ® and getting the aca certificate . thanks to her potential and skill, she’s become professional trainer of photography at the enfap of catania. besides her activity of advertising photographer she’s currently organising exhibitions and courses of photography , where she conveys her experience in the advertising field. her courses are open to anybody, to amateurs or people fond of photography willing to improve or to would be professional photographers. in 2010 she has participated in the european tracks on photography, holding a workshop of photography in lucca, ankara ed evora. in 2012 she did an exhibition within the project riciclarte at the aranciera-semerzaio of st. sisto in rome. in 2013 she designed the project " visioni da un romanzo " to promote and disseminate the photographic art through the free reinterpretation of literary works. the first collective exhibition " manna e miele, ferro e fuoco " took place at palazzo della cultura in catania and then in siracusa at the ex monastero del ritiro. the work features a free rereading of giuseppina torregrossa's novel and tells the feelings and pulsions of a young woman, in our land: sicily. the following project " visioni da un romanzo " goes on weaving a visual text around " i malvoglia " by giovanni verga. through photos the spirit of the protagonists, oppressed and defeated by hostile destiny, is depicted, focusing on the inescapable, never-ending renovation of defeat. the exhibition " i malavoglia " took place at the palazzo della cultura in catania on 2014 and at the castle of aci and at museo verghiano in vizzini on 2015. last projects anima terrae get in touch with us contact us about me portfolio exhibition contact us giusy maria pelleriti fotografo phone (+39) 095 53 24 36 - (+39) 348 65 28 611 email [email protected] via giuseppe simili, 15 - 95129 catania © giusy pelleriti 2015 - tutti i diritti riservati. powered vincenzo leoanrdi
